At 37 years and 52 days, Olivier Giroud is the oldest player in the history of the France team but the oldest scorer and the oldest decisive passer after having served Randal Kolo Muani on the opening score against the Greece.
Most important part of the storyFrench team, with 56 goals, Olivier Giroud probably one day misses Kylian Mbappé, who had 10 goals in months at 24 years old. On the other hand, the 37-year-old striker is astonishing in his longevity since he is the oldest outfield player in the history of the Blues. The dispute between Greece and France will be eliminated during Euro 2024 for 37 years and 52 days.
Giroud is also the oldest scorer in the history of the France team as well as the oldest passer. The AC Milan player made a double match against Gibraltar (14-0) and was decided by Randal Kolo Muani on the score of Athens, in March in the final (2-2).
Giroud became the oldest decisive passer in the history of the French selection in September 2022 by erasing Claude Makelele.
