ᑕ❶ᑐ Deco surprises and gives Xavi the chance to stay at the helm of Barcelona next season in the air

According to the director of (Site notre bureau spécialisé) DecorationOh Barcelona is in no hurry to find his successor xavi as a team coach.

In January this year, after a string of results, Xavi announced his departure for the end of the 2023/24 season.

In an interview, Deco denied the information that Barça was already moving behind the scenes in search of a new coach, even denying that there is a list of pre-candidates for the position.

“We are not talking about it because we are not yet looking for a new coach. Now is not the time, a declaration of Portuguese naturalization of Brazil, in conversation with Radio catalog.

“The season (2023/24) is not over yet. We still have a lot of things to do,” he added.

Since Xavi announced his departure, the blaugranas they are experiencing a series of six matches without defeat.

When asked if Barcelona would agree to continue with Xavi if he reversed his decision to leave, Deco was clear.

“If something changes in this direction, I cannot say that we will not take it into account,” he stressed.

“We have nothing against him [Xavi]. The decision (to leave) is not a reward for the club or the (Site notre bureau spécialisé) department. At the moment, such a possibility does not exist (for Xavi to follow). But if it happens (that Xavi changes his decision), we will discuss it,” he added.

Finally, the director of (Site notre bureau spécialisé) said that Barca will rework the design of the plan for 2024/25 before finding a replacement for Xavi.

“First of all, we have to see the project we want, knowing exactly what we can do and what players we will have,” he explained.

“The majority of athletes are very active. And the truth is that there aren’t many top trainers available on the market. Most trainers are so contrary. There will be a lot of movement, but the right time will come. “Now is not the time for us to make a decision,” he concludes.
