VfL Wolfsburg have loaned native Manuel Braun to the 3rd league. The 19-year-old left-back is joining Waldhof Mannheim for one season. « Manuel has been a resident of Wolfsburg for many years. For his next step, it is necessary that he regularly trains for top-class matches. « We are therefore very pleased that we were able to reach an agreement with Waldhof Mannheim and offer him this opportunity, » said sporting director Sebastian Schindzielorz.

Brand has been a member of Wolves’ youth team since he was a child and signed a professional contract last year. He was not yet part of the professional team, but made his debut for the German U19 national team in May.
