Nicolas Cozza, who was still under contract with VFL Wolfsburg until 2027, will also spend the 2025/26 season at FC Nantes. The French club of the first division confirmed the extension of the loan from the left to the left of 26 years of the Wolves on Tuesday morning. A purchase option was therefore not agreed. Cozza has already spent the second half of 2023/24 in Nantes and again moved to Brittany in August 2024.

« I am very happy to be here, to start the new season with Nantes, to finish the preparation and to intervene directly in the game. I really like to see my teammates. It’s now time to work, » said Cozza.

The Frenchman went from Montpellier HSc to Wolfsburg in January 2023 for 500,000 euros. In the end, however, there was no prevalence and was only on the field for the lower Saxony in 13 games since the signature. In Nantes, Cozza was recently a regular and therefore confirmed its market value of 3.5 million euros.
