Muscle injury
VfB Stuttgart will be without Hiroki Ito (24) for the rest of the year. According to the club, the regular defender of the league’s surprise team has suffered a muscle injury and will therefore no longer be available until the winter break. The Japanese has so far featured in all twelve Bundesliga matches for the third-placed team and has started eleven times.
