While Union Berlin probably sells striker Sheraldo Becker (28) to Real Sociedad in Spain, the new “Fer” striker could come from Switzerland. According to transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, Köpenick’s team has made a formal offer for Servette FC’s Chris Bedia. The Ivorian was recently linked with Werder Bremen.

According to the journalist, the unions are in negotiations about the 1.90 meter striker, but there have not yet been any discussions regarding Werder. Bedia, who has scored 16 goals this season for Servette in all competitions, is only under contract with Geneva until the end of the current season. Other German clubs, including Bologna FC and Wolverhampton Wanderers, also reportedly have Bedia on their list. In Bremen, the name emerged as a possible replacement for loanee Santos Borré, who received an offer from Brazil.
According to the Spanish daily « AS », Union can expect a transfer next January for Becker, who is ready to move. He agreed with the San Sebastian club. The transfer fee would be around 5 million euros. Club-affiliated newspapers ‘Noticias de Gipuzkoa’ and ‘Mundo Deportivo’ also reported an imminent deal.
