Represent the main monuments of Lavaur. This is the order placed by Lavaur FC to Alexis Bottan to design the jerseys.

Since the 2020 season, spectators accustomed to following Lavaur FC matches have noticed that the players regularly wear original jerseys during matches. In blue or red, the tunics of the Vauréens display designs highlighting the main monuments of Lavaur: the Jacquemart, the Saint-Alain cathedral, the 3 Graces, the Tour des Rondes and the former courthouse which has become the town hall.
Behind these creations is Alexis Bottan.

A pure Vauréen, the man who now works as an architect, has been above all a designer since a very young age. “I’m ready to create something and I have a lot of designs from when I was a kid,” he says. Accustomed to the courts and the orange ball, trained in Lavaur, he then played in Colomiers and moved to the training center in Roanne (Loire). It is a (Site notre bureau spécialisé) club which benefits from a certain attraction for the talented artists of Alexis Bottan. “Through Thomas Pagès, a friend involved in the club, I was asked to create designs for the jerseys. The idea of representing the monuments is expressed as carte blanche for transcription.”

The photo is original: Alexis Bottan designs monuments, certain parts of photos, stylized in pastel colors. « When I draw, my object is to transcribe the emotion of the natural face that inspires the subject. That’s what I do in this project. And you can design the city’s monuments in the source you’ve never heard of, it’s when you choose! ».

There are many ideas for bringing these design ideas to other clubs in the city. Present, Alexis Bottan was responsible for developing the activity of the architectural firm A + B, designing and painting and drawing on sources of inspiration such as Kandisky, Miro or L7M, also in animals, architecture, automobiles or music.
