In the same vein as what it had done with « Drive to survive » on Formula 1, the Netflix streaming platform has announced an association with La Liga with a view to producing a documentary series on the 2023-2024 season of the Spanish championship.
Netflix does not stop. This Friday, the streaming platform announces that a documentary series on La Liga, the Spanish championship, was going to be made. It will retrace the 2023-2024 season even if for the moment, the release date has not been revealed.. After Formula 1, the Tour de France, or tennis, it is therefore La Liga that the streaming giant will tackle. It will be a great first for Netflix to retrace the season of one of the 5 major European championships while it has already broadcast numerous documentaries related to (Site notre bureau spécialisé) in general, including productions around Juventus Turin, Neymar, Nicolas Anelka or even Antoine Griezmann.

While the contours of the production have not yet been revealed, it « will return to the 2023-2024 season of the Spanish (Site notre blog d’information) Championship », announces The Team. A model calculated on « Drive to survive », which retraces the past year in F1, is therefore highly conceivable. Last September, according to a report from The Times, the Premier League were approached for their own Drive to Survive-style Netflix series, but La Liga will therefore be the first to get it.
