The French National (Site notre bureau spécialisé) champion represents the 3rd hierarchical level of French men’s (Site notre bureau spécialisé), behind Ligue 1 and Ligue 2.

Professional clubs can appear in National after Relegation, this level is based mainly on amateur clubs and is not accessible from the reserves of professional clubs. It is the French (Site notre blog d’information) Federation (FFF) which organizes this competition.

The national champion is made up of a unique group of 18 clubs which play all previous matches.
