With Grabara at the helm

Almost starting from a standstill, Ibrahim Osman has fought his way to the highest market value in the Superliga at FC Nordsjaelland this season. In a Danish Championship update, the Ghanaian, who joins Brighton & Hove Albion, is up another 700 percent to €12 million. Meanwhile, FCN strengthens its position in the league dominated by FC Copenhagen in terms of team value.
The more than 11 million euros that the 19-year-old winger has earned since the start of the season is also among the international top 40 in this age group. Osman has signed for five years at Brighton, who are paying almost 20 million euros for the young professional. Especially in the final round of the championship, the teenager attracted attention again with four more goals (ten in total plus eight assists in all competitions). Osman shares first place in the market value ranking with Polish goalkeeper Kamil Grabara (25 years old, +1 million to 12 million), who joins VfL Wolfsburg for more than 13 million euros.
Also in third place is a player who leaves the Danish championship after the season. Andreas Schjelderup (20), who scored as many goals as Osman, was sold to Benfica a year and a half ago and returned on loan to Nordsjaelland last summer. After another successful year at the training club, its valuation increases by another million euros to reach 10 million euros.
FCN even surpasses FC Copenhagen in terms of team value growth in this update. The increase for Nordsjaelland amounts to almost 17 million euros, and even over the entire season, the training club recorded an increase just as high as the capital club – or even slightly higher: more than 32 million euros. At the moment, the team has risen to second place in the championship, but will also have to give up huge overall value after the season. In terms of transfer income (already almost 25 million euros), no one in the league can match the FCN. The previous record for single-season revenue was 26 million last year.
This is how transfer market values work
Transfer market values are created taking into account different pricing models as well as strong involvement of the transfer market community, which processes the values in detailed discussions. The market values of transfers cannot generally be equated to the transfer fees actually paid.
The goal is not to predict a price, but rather an expected value. When determining the market value, both individual transfer arrangements and situational conditions are relevant to a certain extent. Examples will be here listed. (Site notre blog d’information) does not use an algorithm (for a detailed definition of market value).
