Hamburger SV missed its return to second place in the 2nd Bundesliga in the second match under interim coach Merlin Polzin. In the 34-year-old’s home debut as caretaker coach, the northern Germans failed to score more than 2-2 (2-1) against strong SV Darmstadt 98 at the Volksparkstadion. Fortuna Düsseldorf wins again: three goals after 11 minutes

Fortuna Düsseldorf enjoyed success again after five consecutive games without success. Coach Daniel Thioune’s team got rid of all their frustration in the 5-0 (3-0) victory against Eintracht Braunschweig on matchday 15.
