American Megan Rapinoe will hang up her crampons. The double world champion will end her career at the end of the year.
A page of women’s (Site notre bureau spécialisé) will soon be turned. Megan Rapinoe, 38, announcing on Saturday that she would end her career at the end of the North American championship season, the regular phase of which will end in October.
Before that, the American striker of OL Reign (ex-Seattle Reign and owned by Olympique Lyonnais), will try to win a third title of world champion in a row after the coronations obtained in 2015 and 2019, without forgetting a final lost in 2011.

The United States are the favorites for the world competition organized in Australia and New Zealand and which will kick off on July 20.
Rapinoe, Ballon d’Or 2019, was also twice French champion with Olympique Lyonnais (2013 and 2014).
