surgery needed

The season ended prematurely for Nabil Fekir. The 29-year-old attacking midfielder suffered a cruciate ligament injury in his left knee and will be out for months. This was announced by his club Real Betis Sevilla on Monday evening. Fekir will have to undergo an operation in the next few days.

The 25-time French international moved from Olympique Lyon to ‘Béticos’ for €19.75million in 2019 and has made 138 appearances since then, scoring 28 goals and providing 26 assists. With a market value of €40m, left-hander Fekir is his team’s most valuable player.
