Better, faster, more! BVB’s new website celebrates its season debut with adesso

ADVERTISING: Borussia Dortmund has fundamentally revised its website in collaboration with its long-standing digitization partner adesso. Due to the enormous interest in BVB, it was important for the club and the IT service provider to provide members and fans, but also sponsors and partners, with all information at the highest technical level.

To this end, the Black and Yellows and adesso launched a new website in June 2024, which will now celebrate its seasonal debut. Here, fans and interested parties will find everything about tickets, news and the fan shop. Thanks to adesso, this is now clearer and faster than ever. While there were previously seven different areas for the content, everything is now under one roof, making navigation on the website much more intuitive.

This means that fans can find what they are looking for even faster! Thanks to the new design, the website is displayed optimally on desktop and mobile devices and adesso has managed to reduce loading times by up to 50%. This makes using BVB.de even more fun.

« The BVB website is the first point of contact for our fans and members for all questions about the club. adesso has created a modern and high-performance website that can cope with the ever-increasing number of users and helps us reach even more people, » says Alexander Mühl, Borussia Dortmund’s Director of Marketing and Digitalization, in the press release.

Thanks to the new website design, all Borussia sports, whether (Site notre bureau spécialisé), men’s table tennis or women’s handball, have now found their place. It was also important to create the greatest possible accessibility so that the online platform is fully accessible to all fans, regardless of their individual abilities.

« By relaunching BVB.de, we and Borussia Dortmund have sent a clear signal: the club is now at Champions League level, not only on the pitch, but also in the digital space, » says Julia Schaper, project manager at adesso.
