Well, I don’t think Bayern really need Kane, they have a decent striker in choupo and great talent in mit tel. if Kane comes, such doesn’t matter anymore. this summer, Kane will turn 30 and spend a lot of money on it. d rather not. either put him on the phone or take a younger one like Osimhen or Moukoko or Rafael Leão
Choupo is a solid striker, yes.
But he will also do it this year and like I said, he’s not as good as Kane. At 30, he certainly still has a few years left before the end of his career and his numbers are still very good. 1 year before the end of the contract, it will certainly not cost the earth, unlike eg. Osimhen, who could certainly cost up to 100 million with a contract until 2025 and is guaranteed not to be sold below 70 million.
Leao would also be a possibility (contract until 2024), but he certainly won’t come cheap either and with Real Madrid someone is interested who could then make the whole package quite expensive.
Unfortunately, Moukoko is just too injury-prone and doesn’t quite fit in my eyes.
If you could get Kane for 50-60 million it wouldn’t be a bargain, but for the years he’s been gone it’s definitely worth considering.
And that doesn’t necessarily mean Tel will have even less match practice. A 3-5-2 is also a possible system for Bayern, then a Tel will certainly be able to play a few games if Choupo stays.
Plus, he can definitely benefit from Kane in training and that’s not bad for a boy his age. I’m really excited to see how this all develops.
