Free transfer after promotion

1. FC Nürnberg have presented their third new signing in Ahmet Gürleyen (24). The centre-back was recently under contract with promoted Second Division side Wehen Wiesbaden, where the Berlin native’s working document expires at the end of the season.

« At Gürleyen we have a robust defender who is strong in one-on-one fights and has consistently performed well in Wiesbaden over the past two years. With his signing we will be more variable in the defense network “explained sporting director Olaf Rebbe.

Gürleyen, who has been active at SVWW since 2020 after his apprenticeship at Mainz 05, said: « I was very honored by the interest from Nuremberg.
