While many Fifa players have traditionally prioritized speed as the most valuable attribute for their virtual team members, strength is a hugely underrated and undervalued quality to possess, especially when it comes to winning aerial duels, protecting the ball or, conversely, recovering possession. Not one of the most well-known names on this list, Newell’s Old Boys defender Armando Méndez boasts a perfectly acceptable overall rating of 70.
It’s Méndez’s strength stats that catch the eye, especially given the position he’s playing in. A stratospheric rating of 95 places the Uruguayan among the strongest players in the game and easily earns him the title of FIFA 22is the most physically formidable full-back.
6 Abdoulaye Seck – Force 95
Another guest to have a 95 rating, Royal Antwerp’s burly central defense is a guest fans could easily miss if they weren’t looking for him. He’s hardly the biggest name in FIFA 23but he is undoubtedly one of the tallest players, estimated at 6ft 4in and truly earning his colossal physical stats.
Seck has since left Royal Antwerp for Israeli side Maccabi Haifa, but for the purposes of this list he is still registered as plying his trade in the Belgian league.
5 Romelu Lukaku – Strength 95

1 Daryl Dike – Strength 96
Look for a photo of Daryl Dike online and you’ll soon understand why he’s crowned as FIFA 23is the strongest player. The man is an indisputable specimen.
Dike has yet to make waves as a professional in England, plying his trade for the West Brom Championship, but at 22 the American has plenty of potential. However, the thought of him getting even bigger and stronger is terrifying. A savvy in career mode too.
