Bundesliga club VfL Bochum suffered yet another defeat at the end of the year.

The traditional relegation-threatened club lost in the home friendly against second division team Karlsruher SC 1:2 (0:1). Daniel O’Shaughnessy (23′) and Lucas Cueto (70′) gave KSC the lead, Philipp Hofmann (82′) only scored against his former club.

Bochum will now take a break from training over the Christmas period. From January 7 there will be a training camp in Jerez de la Frontera to prepare for the mission to stay in class.
