Fafà Picault played 24 times for FC St. Pauli between the summer of 2015 and February 2017, scoring four goals and three assists. At 33 years old, the Haitian international can now hope for at least one season alongside Lionel Messi (37 years old) and Luis Suárez (37 years old). Inter Miami confirmed the winger’s signing on New Year’s Eve following the end of his contract with MLS rivals Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
Picault signed with Miami for one year with an option for another. The New York native had already returned to the United States from St. Pauli. He traveled first to Philadelphia, then to Dallas, Austin, Nashville and finally across the Canadian border to Vancouver in January 2024. In the top North American league, Picault played 224 games in the regular season and eleven in the playoffs. He scored 57 goals and 28 assists.
