It was a disappointing night for the Netherlands, Oranje only came on in the second half and only for short periods, looked disorganized and had to rely on individual performances. The plan to bring in Lineth Beerensteyn on the counter-attack didn’t work at all, she was substituted at half-time. Things got better with Jill Roord in the game, but she wasn’t having her best day.
