It didn’t take long. Shortly after Karim Benzema’s switch to Saudi club Al-Ittihad became known, N’Golo Kanté has now been officially confirmed as a new signing on a free transfer!
The 32-year-old 2018 world champion, who won the Champions League with Chelsea and sensationally won the Premier League with Leicester City, signed a contract in Saudi Arabia until 2027, including a supposed annual salary around 25 million euros.
After the already mentioned Benzema and of course Christiano Ronaldo, Kante is already the third world star in the last 12 months to be drawn to the Saudi Pro League.
