Jamie joined the club at the start of the 2007/2008 season and was an ever present between the sticks for the whole season. His attributes are good handling, positional sense, good organisational skills and is very vocal. Currently Vice Captain for the current season.
Jamie started his footballing career at Wallington Little League playing for the Yellows team from U7 through to U10. He transferred to Morden Little League for the start of 11-a-side football, playing for Presidents Royals (U11) Rotary Royals (U12) and Footman Flyers in the Seniors (U13). In that final Little League year he had a great season with Footman Flyers, (under his Dad as manager) helping them to the Cup Final, and the Senior League Title Playoff, which they were just edged out of in both games. He also helped the Morden Little League to the National Little League Tournament final, helping his side to a 1-0 victory. He also started playing Sunday football that year and spent the first season with Sinjun Colts, helping them win every game and promotion. He moved on to play for Walton Heath Youth the following season, adding stability to their defence and helping them to 3rd place in their league. Uncertainty over the future of the Walton team forced Jamie to look for another club - eventually trialling, and being signed by Hurkan and Hakan for Worcester Park Colts in 2007. Jamie fulfilled a burning ambition of playing in a final at the ground of the team he supports, AFC Wimbledon. He helped Worcester Park lift the Under 15 SYL Invitation Cup 3-0. Hurkan and the management team hope that Jamie has another happy and successful season.
